The Left's new hero: Scott Olsen.

The leftist blogosphere and left-wing media is now all atwitter over Scott Olsen, a former Marine who served in Iraq before coming home, getting a good corporate job with a software firm, and--inexplicably--joining the unwashed hippie masses in the Oakland Obamaville tent city set up to "Occupy Oakland".

You see, the police were sent in to clear the park because these hippies were urinating and defecating all over it and the hippies decided that it would be way cool to resist, because laying around in your own or someone else's waste sends a message that you're angry because no one will give you a high-paying job. (Maybe it's just me, but would YOU hire some scumbag who came in reeking of BO and human waste to work in your office? I'm telling ya, there's a reason that these dirtbags are unemployed while the majority of the rest of us have decent jobs even in this Obama economy.)

Anyway, the hippies fought back with violence, as leftists always do. They pushed over barricades, they broke windows, they threw things...finally the police were forced to deploy gas and use a bit of muscle to get these cretins out of the park so that it could be cleaned and made sanitary for the rest of the citizens, especially the ones who actually do work and pay taxes. Somehow, in the melee that followed, Scott Olsen was hit in the head by something. The hippies claim that it was a tear gas canister that was fired "right at him", but I personally suspect that he caught a rock or other projectile hurled by one of his own confederates. In any event, scott Olsen is down for the count and the left now has a hero that they are wasting no time exploiting in media stories all around the globe. Ignoring the fact that Olsen was just another well-off white kid who worked for one of those "evil corporations", they seize on his service record as if to somehow make the claim that he's some sort of noble guy, and by extension, imply that they're all noble, too.

Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Firts off, while I applaud Scott's service to the country, it in no way cloaks him with any special status. He served his hitch and he got out, just as many others have done and will continue to do for as long as we have a military. If anything is noteworthy, it's the fact that his service makes him an almost unquantifiable minority among the suburban savages who are now dancing in his blood. Very, very few of these "Occupy" twits have served or ever will serve, because they're just not that kind of people. They're too lazy, pampered and self-obsessed to ever sign on the dotted line and become part of our military machine. (and then there's that whole haircut and bathing thing that the military insists on...) So he's a novelty to them, not a representative of their demographic. If anything, Olsen would have been more at home on the side of the decent American police officers who were there to deal with the mess that his friends were creating. Many police officers are former military because they, unlike Scott Olsen, wanted to continue to serve and protect their fellow Americans.

But Scott, like many others before him, made some bad decisions. He decided to go hang out among the great unwashed masses, he chose to become a law-enforcement problem instead of being part of the solution, and then he put his melon in the way of something heavy that was moving fast.

So cott got laid out, and the left is ecstatic now. They have a bona-fide "martyr" that they can put on display. Scott the person has no value to them and never did, but Scott the former Marine has plenty, and he will continue to have value right up until the media stops caring about him, at which time they'll abandon him, too.

Granted, if it had not been Scott, it would have been someone else. The left is all about creating sympathetic "victims" among their ranks for public consumptioin. This is why if you look at footage of their events, you will see the crowds peppered with people in wheelchairs and even little children. Those human beings were brought out specifically to gain public attention and sympathy, and if one gets hurt--like Scott Olsen did--so much the better! It's an old ploy that the left routinely engages in, and they'll keep doing it until everyone wises up and starts castigating them and punishing them for bringing their children to these events and placing them in front of trucks or between themselves and lines of police officers.


Scott, thanks for your service and sorry that you got hurt, but honestly, I'm surprised that your service time didn't teach you that stupid is supposed to hurt.

UPDATE: I retract my thanks and any residual sympathy that I might have had for this loser. Ed Rasimus tipped me to the article on Gateway Pundit (Great job, Jim!) that shows that this loser runs an anti-military website and that he was obviously one of those loser malcontents who couldn't hack serving and lacked the class to just walk away gracefully when his obligation had been fulfilled. I have less respect for this punk than I do for a rat. If a rat ran out in front of my truck I would probably try to avoid crushing it. Scott Olsen...well I'd have to think about that for a few minutes but it would probably come down to expected sheet metal damage and the number of witnesses.

Olsen's clearly a cockroach and I hope that whatever hit him leaves some serious marks. If a police officer did inflict that injury to Olsen and they can identify that officer, I'm sending him a gift card for a nice dinner.

Verdict in in Oakland BART shooting trial--Involuntary manslaughter

Former Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Officer Johannes Mehserle was just found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for his shooting of career thug Oscar Grant on New Years' Day, 2009. Grant, who was drunk and high and only a few months out of prison after several drug convictions and one for carrying a gun, was part of a mob of disorderly punks who were tearing up the BART station and resisting attempts by BART police to arrest them. During the arrest process, as Grant was fighting off attempts to cuff him, Officer Mehserle went to use his TASER on Grant and accidentally drew his sidearm and shot Grant instead. This was unfortunate and clearly there was some poor training involved here, but it was a far cry from the deliberate murder that many Oakland thugs tried to make it out to be. After the shooting, the fools in Oakland rioted and tore up/burned down parts of their own community. And if it wasn't bad enough that the local trash burned out many of the businesses trying to make a go of it there, it turned out that many of the rioters who were arrested weren't even from Oakland--they were punk white kid wanna-be anarchists who traveled to Oakland just to be a part of the destruction.

Now mind you, I'll never feel sorry for Oakland, because as we've already seen in this incident and in the one where another Oakland thug named Lovell Mixon murdered four police officers to the cheers of his fellow street thugs, Oakland is nothing but a third-world city comprised of ex-cons and welfare queens and it's total destruction would only be a boon to America.

So now what? Will Oakland burn again? Will the city's criminal element embark on a spree of arson, assaults and mayhem? And if they do, will the forces of law and order be allowed to stop them by any means necessary, or will the liberals in charge restrain them and let the carnage play on? We'll just have to see what tomorrow's news brings us.

As for tonight, my thoughts are with the public safety professionals in and around Oakland. Stay safe and be careful, my brothers and sisters. Do what you have to do in order to ensure that you go home in the morning.

UPDATE: Yep. The savages are out again in Oakland. Fires burning, stores looted, and over 80 arrested as of this morning, with an expectation that the numbers will rise before it's over.No Justice, No Peace--so rip off a Footlocker store...and then wonder why after that store refuses to reopen in your neighborhood, the stores in the surrounding communities really don't seem all that welcoming when you swagger in.

Time to nuke Oakland

Yeah, I mean Oakland, California, home to socialist Nancy Pelosi, unreconstructed Communist Ron Dellums (former Congressman, now Mayor) and this bunch of liquor-drinking, welfare-check-getting, parole-violating, no-job-having pieces of shit who are out there cheering for their kindred scumbag Lovell Mixon, murderer of four husbands and fathers who were also outstanding police officers.

On the very day that our four heroes are being laid to rest, this pack of savages is out there marching on behalf of their murderer, taking pride in his actions and even defending Mixon for being the cowardly child-rapist that he was.

Asked about police allegations that Mixon was suspected in several rapes, including that of a 12-year-old girl, marcher Mandingo Hayes said, "He wasn't a rapist. I don't believe that."

Of course you don't Mandingo. (Who the hell names their baby "Mandingo" anyway?

And aside from his fat mama marching out there and proclaiming that her boy "isn't no monster", other relatives of his were also standing around waiting their turn to stay stupid stuff to the reporters.

Lolo Darnell, one of Mixon's cousins at the demonstration, said, "He needs sympathy too. If he's a criminal, everybody's a criminal."

NO, what he needed was a good kick in the ass when he was still young enough to be salvaged, and when he didn't get that, he needed to stay in prison so that the decent people--and even his own family members who are a long way from decent could be safe.

And am I the only one to notice that this so-called "march" is comprised of mostly able-bodied males and it's taking place during normal working hours? There's half of the problem right there. These cretins don't want to work like people are supposed to. They've only got time to drink, sling weed and breed another generation of babies that they have no intention of supporting...more babies who will grow up to be just like them and their new icon, Mixon.

Breitbart has two videos of these morons. Notice that the guy in the second one--the guy not at work--still seems to find the cash to buy big rings and megaphones, assuming of course that he didn't just steal both of them. They stand out in front of an office of some Socialist Party headquarters and blather on and on about how the police are some sort of "army of occupation" in an "African" community. They further complain about the police killing "black people" every day.




First of all, This isn't Africa and most Africans would be upset about the comparison. Contrary to stereotype, most people in Africa who have had access to the same educational and economic opportunities that these fools in Oakland had are upstanding members of the middle and upper classes and they run their countries instead of sitting around acting like punks like these Oakland losers are. And the police don't go around just killing black people, either. This isn't that kind of country and Oakland's not that kind of city, even with Ron "I'm a Sandinista" Dellums at it's helm. Here's a newsflash for you fools in Oakland...If the police shoot you, your color has nothing to do with it. It's usually because you were breaking the law and victimizing someone else and you chose to try to kill the police officers rather than let them stop you or bring you to justice. Your boy Mixon was the poster-child for that sort of thing--out on parole but still screwing up--raping young women and little girls, smoking dope and carrying guns. He finally got a little of what he earned, but we can't kill him enough times to balance the books for what he's done. Granted, if this really were the sort of socialist country that these marchers and people like Dellums advocate, we would be going after Mixon's family members and associates and killing them too. But this isn't that kind of country, no matter how much the scumbags that make those claims wish that is was.

I'm thinking that it's time to just wall that whole city of Oakland off. Take out the good folks--the ones who work, stay out of trouble and consider themselves loyal Americans--and just build a wall fifty feet high all around the city, leaving the remaining mutants to just hang out, kill each other off and build shrines to their hero Mixon out of old liquor bottles. If any of them try to get over the wall, we shoot them. If anyone outside tries to help them or support them, we toss them over the wall, too. Dellums can stay and be their mayor. Most of this crap is his fault anyway due to his stellar mismanagement and repeated failure to support the police.

We'll seal it up and let them go crazy for a while when the liquor and the crack runs out, and then we can just run some big pipes over the wall from the bay and fill it with water to the top of the wall. Problem solved. And maybe when we drain the water away, we can get the mess cleaned up by using prison labor from around the country. Let the other scumbags see what can happen when they get too far out of line, and then they can go home and tell all their friends.


Rest in Peace, my brothers. You deserve more support than you're getting from the people who depended on you to run their lives and solve their silly-assed problems. And when the mourning is over and it's time to get back to work, I hope that the remaining members of the Oakland Police Department are quick to get back out there and nail every one of those preening, dancing protesters who so much as drops a cigarette butt on the street. If there ever was a place that truly needed police-state policing, it's Oakland, CA from here on out.

As a cop, this totally disgusts me.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, a loserette named Erin Breckenridge is taking another shot at the Oakland Police Academy. Now what makes Erin Breckenridge a loserette, you ask? Merely the fact that she already failed out of that same academy twice and quit a third time. And although it's practically unheard of for someone to get four shots at passing a police academy, the difference here is her meddling mother, Oakland City Administrator Deborah Edgerly.


The slack-jawed cow in the picture is Mommie Deborah. Her mouth is open as she's undoubtedly telling the police administration that they'd better pass her precious daughert this time. She obviously feels no shame about using her position in city government to force the police commission to let her daughter try over and over again--something that would not be done in the case of any other non-nepotistic candidate. And what's worse, when Deborah's precious little Erin could not pass particular parts of the training, notably the time-proven and virtually universal six foot wall climb, City Administrator Edgerly questioned whether it was fair to require women to scale a 6-foot-high wall. And bowing to her pressure, the academy dropped that requirement.

Edgerly reportedly dipped into other aspects of the training program as well, resulting in a watered down curriculum that puts less-capable officers on the street. But hey--if your whiny daughter can't work out and get in shape to pass the test like everyone else does--and if you are the City Administrator, you just force the academy to lower the bar for everyone.

And Oakland Police Chief Wayne Tucker doesn't exactly warrant a pass here. He's been kow-towing to Big Momma Edgerly every step of the way, over the objections of qualified academy instructors who have expressed frustration at giving the trainees 100% and only having Breckenridge give 10% back.

Morale is down all throughout the department, both over the administration's unheard of efforts to passs Breckenridge and the fact that despite her many failures, she's been retained in a paid, non-sworn capacity within the department. One officer called it "a slap in the face." Another said, "Why not just give her a badge and a gun and make her a captain already and just let us do our jobs."

Little Erin Breckenridge refused comment when contacted Thursday by the Chronicle. But her mother said she had never been given a fair chance to succeed.

Hello?! She already got THREE TRIES! That's two tries more than most people ever get. And sadly, every time Prima Donna Breckenridge plunks her big butt down in an academy class seat, that means that another candidate did not get called up and offered the chance. Breckenridge's poor attitude and lackluster motivation has already kept the city from adding three other officers. Please e-mail

I'm here to tell you, I would never accept Erin Breckenridge as my partner nor would I feel safe having to rely on her for back-up. She's an insult to qualified female applicants and everyone who has passed all of the academy's training requirements.
