How NBC CBS, the broadcaster for the Super Bowl--and the NFL--could ever think that it was a good idea to let Beyonce use their air time and the half-time show to give every American police officer and much of mainstream America the middle finger with her "Black Lives Matter" dance and anti-police song?

I didn't bother tuning in to the game because, frankly, I tire of the hype surrounding it, and that includes all of the over-the-top commercials with vapid celebrities who got paid millions to hawk whatever, but this crap? Really? When all we hear lately is how evil and racist and non-inclusive America is, who could possibly have thought that somehow we'd all become more loving towards and tolerant of the ones screaming the loudest about how crummy America is (despite giving them every possible opportunity to thrive and earn wealth) by giving one of their chief advocates the green light to use the Super Bowl itself to basically tell the rest of us to fuck off?

At least some of America's Finest responded by turning their backs on this uncultured and ungrateful lout.

I wonder what she'd do if somehow the police were able to selectively refuse to protect her or respond to calls for help from her and her family from now on? Of course they wouldn't, even if they could. Unlike Beyonce, her BLM-bankrolling husband, and the thugs who run around shouting the names of dead violent criminals as if they were some sort of saints, the men and women of American law enforcement are better than that. They go to work and do their jobs every day because they believe that ALL lives matter, even relatively non-beneficial ones like Travon Martin, Mike Brown, LaVoy Finicum or Beyonce.

Oh--and I note for the record that this One-Percenter who regularly champions gun control also took to wearing bandoliers of fake bullets as part of her costume. So I guess that makes her a racist hater AND a hypocrite.

NOVI (WWJ) – A Detroit-area mother is fuming over an essay question that asked middle school students if they would rather be slaves or factory workers.
Tina James, whose 13-year-old daughter attends Novi Middle School, told WWJ’s Vickie Thomas that she almost couldn’t believe an 8th grade American History assignment that asked students: “Which would you rather be: A slave or a factory worker during the Industrial Revolution?”
“The first thing I though was how can you even compare the two,” James said. “As far as I’m concerned, they are diametrically opposing circumstances.

So if there's no comparison, you'd think that Tina James--or her daughter, since it was the daughter's assignment--could simply articulate that belief as the basis for her essay. She could use the essay as a vehicle for honing and advancing her opinion and perhaps it might sway others to her point of view if it was persuasively written. In short, it was a great opportunity to practice debate skills and advocacy writing. But no, that can't be allowed, because somewhere out there, a mother is "offended". So, with her deck of race cards in her pocket, she rushes into the school to demand that THE QUESTION NOT EVEN BE ASKED. Students cannot even discuss the concept, according to Tina James, and by God, if the school even dares to have a discussion on race, there will be consequences, especially if the discussion suggests that others may have had it hard too and that just perhaps blacks in America were not the most aggrieved victims that ever lived. This sort of discussion must be censored and banned, and if anyone even dares think such things, well Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will be having a fist-fight outside that school tomorrow to see which one will do the press conference and file the lawsuit.

In my day, we were exposed to diverse viewpoints specifically to learn to rationalize and to articulate opposing views. By so doing, we learned to think for ourselves and speak up if we disagreed, and we learned how to convince others with compelling arguments instead of threats. But Tina James blasted into that school and demanded an end to any such thing, and to their disgrace, the school knuckled under and changed the course curriculum. Heck, why debate and sway opinion when you can just scream "racism" and threaten to sue?

Somewhere out there, great orators such as Daniel Webster, Henry Clay, Abraham Lincoln, Stephen Douglas, Franklin Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan are turning over in their graves, and you can almost hear the kids in that school getting dumber thanks to Tina James.

It's a rare day when I compliment the British media, but when they earn it...

Kudos to the UK Daily Mail for letting us here in America know that "Saint Trayvon", as our media would have him portrayed, was suspended three times and had been caught with burglary tools and stolen property in addition to drugs.

A picture of this "kid" is emerging, despite his family's efforts to prevent it by removing his alleged gangster wanna-be pictures and frequent references to drug use from his social media pages, and maybe his legions of supporters should back off and mull things over for a bit before resuming their screeching about how this so-called "innocent child" was killed.

In the meantime, perhaps they could use some of that downtime to work up some outrage over another Florida shooting case that appears to have racial overtones..one that the US media has been ignoring for some reason. Could it be because the shooter was black and the two dead victims were white? Where's Sharpton and the "no justice, no peace" choir at in this case?

Family now admits Trayvon Martin was a drug user as they start looking for people to sue

And he was serving a suspension from school for possessing marijuana on the day that he was killed. And while it's still not clear if the photos circulating the internet that were allegedly from the kid's Facebook and other social media sites and which show him throwing gang signs and posing with guns and drugs are real, it's becoming clearer that he was no choirboy.

Still, George Zimmerman, the man who shot Trayvon Martin and who was apparently beaten by Martin before firing the shots, is probably going to wind up indicted before too much longer, and yes, that will probably happen in part because of the "outrage" of so many people, most of whom know even less about the events surrounding the shooting than I do, which is damned little indeed. Zimmerman screwed up when he perceived Martin as a threat, according to his own 911 call, and then exited his vehicle and began following Martin on foot instead of remaining in his vehicle as he'd been instructed to do by the 911 dispatcher. A claim of self-defense requires that the claimant have clean hands and not have done anything to escalate the situation into one where the use of deadly force would have been otherwise appropriate. Zimmerman, by leaving his vehicle and pursuing Martin, did just that. If he was formally trained as Florida's law requires for those who wish to carry a firearm for self-defense, he should have known better. That concept is a cornerstone of the NRA's 8hr Personal Protection course or comparable training that Florida's concealed carry law mandates.

I wish Zimmerman luck, because he's going to need it to get out of the fix that he put himself in. And as for all of the Martin supporters who claim to be so upset over the death of one black male at the hands of "some white guy", I have to ask them all where the anguish is for all of the other people--white, black, male, female, children and senior citizens--who are killed every day in this country by other black males? Is just this death and this death alone worthy of getting angry about? And would any of these people be angry today had Martin the black male just killed Zimmerman or anyone else for no real reason last month? Sadly, I think that we all know the answers to these questions.

Oh, and in the latest development, Martin's mother has spent some cash ($325.00 per filing) to try to trademark her son's name. Apparently this "grieving family" is starting to see the dollar signs flying around, and since there's no handy police department or big corporation to sue, they're planning to go after anyone who utters or prints the phrases “I Am Trayvon” or “Justice for Trayvon". Someone had better warn Obama before she trademarks "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon."

Oh, those fun-loving, politically-correct Democrats

Someone tell me again about how we get the government that we deserve.
And if that's true, it helps explain why Louisiana of all areas hit with a crisis alone descended into anarchy and chaos. Why? Because they keep electing mayors like Ray Nagin, congressmen like William Jefferson, and State representatives like Carla Dartez, who is now in the news for saying something that--if a Republican had said it--would have resulted in riots and demands for impeachment by now.

But since Dartez is a Dem, this isn't getting much play outside of the local area. Therefore, please allow me to let you all know what you're missing courtesy of the liberal, pro-Democrat media which is all but blacking this story out.

A couple of days ago, Dartez was talking on the phone with the mother of the local NAACP president, talking about their plans to bus voters to the polls on election day. (And I'm sure that they're not using the rides to push Democratic Party candidates because that would be wrong.) Dartez ended her call with long-time civil-rights activist Hazel Boykin by saying “talk to you later, Buckwheat.”

Whoa. Buckwheat? Damn, in the lexicon of insulting caricatures of black people, that one ranks right up there with Aunt Jemima and Amos and Andy. I mean, you just can't get any more demeaning and insensitive than that short of using the dreaded "N word".

And both hazel Boykin and her son Jerome are understandably pissed. They've withdrawn their support for Dartez and called on her to resign.
And Dartez told Jerome Boykin thhat if he mentioned the insult on his radio show, she would resign. Of course this was meant as a threat, as in "if you out me, I'll make sure that you get stuck with my challenger, and he's a REPUBLICAN!"

of course that didn't silence Boykin and he did talk about it. And like a typical Democrat, Dartez went back on her word once her bluff was called and now refuses to resign.

But what's telling is that Dartez had been an embarrassment to her party and the state before. Prior to qualifying for this election in September, she hit a pedestrian with her vehicle then failed a field sobriety test. However Dartez did apparently pass a breathalyzer test given later, although her blood-alcohol content has not been disclosed.

Additionally, earlier this month, her husband, Lenny J. Dartez, a member of the Democratic Party’s State Central Committee, was indicted for allegedly harboring illegal aliens through his construction business. Just what we need, eh? Thousands of jobs rebuilding Louisiana but none for Louisianans because the Dartezes make more money using illegals. She also racked up a DWI in 1998.

And this does nothing if it doesn't highlight the Democrats' double-standard. When Republican Senator Trent Lott said something nice about Strom Thurmond at Thurmond's 100th birthday party, Dems were in an uproar, demanding (and ultimately getting) his ouster from office. Yet Democrat Robert Byrd, a former leader in the Ku Klux Klan, still serves as a Senator with the blessing and support of the same people who called for Lott's head. I'm betting that those partisans are quick to overlook Dartez' insult to blacks as well because in the end, it's more important to get a majority than it is to remove racists from the Democratic party.

And if Louisiana voters re-elect Dartez, then we'll know that they really want and deserve a corrupt racist with a drinking problem as their advocate.

How's that foot taste, Ray?

If Ray Nagin, soon-to-be outgoing Mayor of New Orleans (Oh, please God...) had any friends left in the world, they'd have put duct tape over his mouth by now. I mean he just keeps saying dumb stuff and proving to everyone that he's not the man to represent all of the residents and businesses of the Crescent City.

His latest gaffe was minor compared to some of his earlier ones but it still showed us all how he thinks. Addressing a crowd of ex-New Orleans residents in Houston and trying to give them a reason to vote for him. (Someone tell me again why people who aren't living in the city are being allowed to vote?) As he spoke to this crowd, rather than tell them why he's the best man for the job, or lay out his plans to undo the damage caused by his previous screw-ups before, during and after Hurricane Katrina, he tried to scare them into voting for him by pointing out that most of the people now running against him aren't black.
Nagin noted that 23 candidates entered the mayoral fray before the registration deadline last week. "Very few of them look like us," he told the crowd of black ex-residents who had gathered at an NAACP meeting to hear him.

So in Nagin's mind, he obviously thinks that his best chance to get re-elected is to forget about his track-record of ineptitude, including the Superdome, the Convention Center and all of those submerged school buses that could have prevented that horror and just raise the specter of some white guy running the city.

Does Nagin really hate white people that much? Or does he just think that black people are really that stupid that he can scare them into giving him another chance just by making some racist statements? Either way, he's clearly got no business in office. The city needs someone who can be inclusive, not divisice. Someone who will unite the people who are left, not divide them or use the people who aren't even there any more to try to keep the real residents from voting him out of office.

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin said Friday that it wasn't his fault city school buses weren't mobilized to facilitate the Hurricane Katrina evacuation he ordered.

Appearing on NBC's "Dateline," Nagin was asked by host Stone Phillips: "What was mobilized? Were buses ready to take people away?"

"No. None of that," the Big Easy mayor replied.

"Why is that?" an incredulous Phillips asked.

Nagin replied: "I dont know. That is question for somebody else."
