What a dollar can get you in Wisconsin.

In Wisconsin, a guy walks into a strip club and offers a stripper a dollar....

A stripper chick-fight breaks out.

JUNEAU — Two dancers on stage at an exotic dance club in Juneau got into a physical fight over $1, according to a Dodge County Sheriff’s Department report.

Officers were called to Silk Exotic around 9:30 p.m. Thursday to break up the fight.

A customer was trying to give a dollar to one of the dancers, but the other dancer took it, according to the report.

Both women fell to the floor, pulled each other’s hair and punched and slapped each other. Other dancers and customers separated the women.
I'm personally not into strip joints, especially ones where the suggested tip is only a dollar, but I admit that I'd give a dollar for a front-row seat at an exhibition fight like that.

Of course, this being Wisconsin, they probably both looked like Roseanne Barr in which case, I'd have wanted my dollar back.

Walker Wins Wisconsin! America Wins Overall!

The election has been called for Governor Walker in Wisconsin.

The recall attempt put forth by bitter union goons trying to bite the hands of the taxpayers that feed them has failed. There are unconfirmed reports that Leftist talking head Ed "Special Ed" Schultz has been hospitalized for trying to commit suicide in his bathroom by slamming the toilet seat on his own head until he lost consciousness. All across America, conservatives and fans of smaller government are cheering, while union thugs and their puppets in the Obama administration are still trying to figure out what just happened to their 50-state effort to defeat an elected official from a Blue State who dared try to force public employees in that state to pay for just a small part of their own pensions and health benefits. The hope of much of America--and fear of useless union drones everywhere--is that other governors and state legislatures may now feel emboldened enough to try to cut back the lavish lifestyles of their own civil servant class or even take steps to end the corrupt bargains between unionized government workers, their money-raisers and the legislators who take that money and then vote to raise the wages of those unionized government workers.

Heck, even Liberal standard-bearer and union icon Franklin D. Roosevelt was opposed to collective bargaining for public employees. So how can anyone, least of all today's union drones, hate on Governor Walker for working to carry out FDR's ideals?

But the public employee unions lost today and lost big. They spent millions of dollars trying to sway voters and turn out their base, only to have the educated, informed working people of Wisconsin turn out in even larger numbers and slap them down.

I'm happy tonight. Even Murphy is doing a happy dance. Tomorrow's dawn will shine bright on a new and improved day for the American taxpayer. Today Wisconsin, tomorrow the rest of America!

REAL Leadership: Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker

Sometimes one man can make a difference.

Newly elected based in large part on his promise to get Wisconsin's bloated budget under control, Wisconsin's Governor, Scott Walker, stood up to the over-paid public employees of that state and told them that they were going to have to pay part of their own retirement (like most Americans do) and play by a new set of rules designed to stop their annual shakedowns of the public for more loot from the treasury by refusing en masse to do the jobs that they applied for and agreed to do.

Now the unions are powerful in that state. They own the Democrat Party both locally and nationally. (Actually they split it with the trial lawyers like some sort of corruption time-share.) So when Walker proposed these new rules for public employees--our employees--and when it appeared that they were going to pass through the new post-Obama, Republican-majority legislature, the unions told their Dem lackeys to abandon their posts and shirk their obligations and run off to hide, basically stopping ALL of the people's business until pressure could be brought to bear to force the governor and others to give them their way.

Well Governor Walker held fast. He wasn't swayed by protests made up of teachers who were fraudulently calling in sick to picket on the people's dime. He wasn't swayed by busload after busload of union thugs from other states showing up to scream, or college kids who don't even have jobs arrogantly telling reporters that this is their fight too. He ordered the Democrats to return to work, and when they refused, he had the bills that they were trying to block re-written so as to not require a full quorum and passed them without those work-skipping union sock-puppets even being there.

Hoo-RAH! Now that's leadership--doing the right thing even when it's hard, just because it's right.

Wisconsin won yesterday, and all of America wins as well. Anything that takes smacks union hands out of the public cookie jar is good for the country. If you want to be in a union and threaten strikes and slowdowns to extort more money from your employers even though you do crap work, then go to one of the Big Three auto companies. But if you want the security and stability of a government job, then you need to take what's offered to you by the people who pay the taxes and their elected officials and be grateful for what you're handed.

The unions and the Democrats both got their asses handed to them by Governor Walker, and life is better for everyone else as a result.

Hey Steve Kagen--we kicked your ass.

Hey everyone...remember Wisconsin Democrat Steve Kagen? He was the guy who bragged about how, right after he got elected, he trapped Karl Rove in a men's room and boasted about "kicking his ass" following the Dems' sweep into control of the House four years ago. He also bragged about deliberately disrespecting Laura Bush by calling her "Barbara". He later bragged about how it was his intention to insult her and her husband by doing so.

I wrote about it here. The guy just got elected to high office and instead of behaving like a statesman, he ran around acting like an undisciplined 6th grader and then bragged about it repeatedly as if he expected Wisconsin voters to be proud of him.

Well Kagen--the punk extraordinaire--just got his own ass kicked by those voters and he's on his way back to the private sector after being trounced by Republican Reid Ribble Tuesday night.

Kagen's defeat follows that of Florida's Alan Grayson, another buffoon famous for a whole host of loutish actions such as his statement, made on the floor of the House of Representatives, that the Republicans’ plan to save some money in Medicare was to request that seniors die quickly. Even his own party members were embarrassed (just not enough to censure him).

These victories of civility and maturity over crassness will serve as a good start in the effort towards bringing respectability back to the House.

And as if my earlier stupid criminal with a gun story wasn't funny enough...

In Wisconsin, a woman is attacked by a robber so she draws a gun and shoots the robber...who turns out to be her own son!
MILWAUKEE -- A 21-year-old man was shot by his mother around 9:00 p.m. Thursday on West Nash Street and North 13th Street.

Milwaukee Police said the victim told investigators he thought it would be amusing to frighten his mother as she returned from shopping.

He put on a ski mask and confronted her behind their residence, pretending to rob her.

The 37-year-old female responded by drawing a .357 revolver from her waistband and firing several shots at the victim, striking him at least twice.

He was conveyed to a local hospital by the Milawukee Fire Department and his condition is unknown.

The suspect surrendered to the first responding squad and was in custody according to Milwaukee police.

Officers also recovered a blue steel revolver with an obliterated serial number from the suspect.

Of course now they claim that it was a prank, or a joke gone wrong, but somehow I'm not buying that.

I also can't help but notice that this woman--the one carrying the gun with the serial numbers ground off--is 37 and has a 21 year old son. That means she was 16 when she had him and probably 15 when she got knocked up. Not surprisingly, there's no mention of a husband or father in this story. I'm willing to bet that us taxpayers are going to be paying for his medical care and her court-appointed lawyer.

Once again, they call it "dope" for a reason.

They say that our youth are our future, but if Jamie Salonen of Sheboygan, Wisconsin is representative of what our nation has to look forward to, I'm selling my bonds.
An 18-year-old Sheboygan woman is facing charges after authorities say she tried to eat marijuana as an officer pulled over the car she was riding in.

Jamie L. Salonen, of 2210 N. 20th St., was charged Friday with misdemeanor marijuana possession and felony bail jumping, the latter charge because having the drug would violate her cash bond on a pending felony marijuana charge. She could face up to three years and six months behind bars, if convicted on both counts.

According to a criminal complaint:

Salonen was a passenger in a car that was pulled over Friday in Sheboygan by a Wisconsin state trooper. The trooper stopped the car after seeing the occupants were not wearing seatbelts, but grew more suspicious after seeing Salonen move around inside.

The trooper came to the door and saw her holding a small bag in her hand that is commonly used to store illegal drugs.

Noting the woman's responses were muffled and she had green material around her mouth and lips, the trooper had Salonen open her mouth, revealing apparent marijuana as well as unknown red and blue pieces inside. There was also marijuana strewn about the passenger side of the car.

Asked why she had marijuana in her mouth, Salonen said she saw it on the floor and then picked it up and ate it. She was described as very emotional and surprised that she was being arrested for the small amount of marijuana.

"I only ate some weed, officer," Salonen said, according to the complaint.

Salonen's pending charge, marijuana possession with intent to deliver, stems from a July traffic stop in which she was allegedly caught burying nine bags of marijuana in wood chips as officers searched her car. She also had a marijuana baggie in her mouth that was discovered during a later search at the police department, a complaint said.
Eighteen year old, and already working on a solid rap sheet, as evidenced by the pending felony charge. Her parents must be so proud...

How pathetic-- Freshman Congressman acts like punk at White House.

Residents of Appleton, Wisconsin sure have reason to be proud of their newly-elected Congressman Steven Kagen...at least the immature ones do.

This guy recently spoke before a group of his anti-war constituents and bragged about his boorish behavior during his first visit to the White House after he was graciously invited there.

According to the story, first reported by his own hometown newspaper Valley Scene, he boasts of first encountering Karl Rove in the men's room. Kagen claimed that as Rove attempted to leave, he [Kagen] blocked the door shut so that Rove couldn't exit and said, “You’re in the White House and you think your safe, huh? You recognize me? My name’s Dr. Multimillionaire and I kicked your ass.” Then he followed Rove down the hall and badgered him about some legislation that he wanted passed. He then told his admiring whack-job audience about how he then spotted Vice President Cheney and went out of his way to confront the Vice-President and make some childish remarks about how he [Kagen] could not have won his close election but for the V.P. campaigning in his district for the other guy. And then he launched into an anti-war tirade and tried his hardest to belittle Cheney. He kept at this until he was given a chance to have his picture taken with the President, at which point he proudly told everyone how he walked up to the President of the United States in the White House and spewed some of the same punk comments about the election at President Bush that he'd already hurled at Rove and Cheney. Then to top it off, he claims that he deliberately called the President's wife "Barbara" instead of addressing her as Mrs. President or even her actual name--Laura. As Kagen himself reported it: "Then I go to his wife, ‘Hi Barbara, how are ya?’ I did that because I learned on the campaign that the meanest thing you can say to another gentlemen is, ‘he’s a fine fellow,’ and you then refer to his spouse by a different name.”"

So this dork gets an invite to the White House that was offered in the spirit of conciliation and cooperation, and all he does is roam around acting like a total dick. Then he goes home and brags about it and expects people to look up to him.

Well that might happen on a playground, but few adults are going to appreciate his conduct. And his constituents should expect that any legislation that he offers is as good as vetoed, and I hope that it happens. Now in all honesty, it may not, because unlike Steven Kagen, our President is a class act and he can overlook it when an immature novice legislator feels the need to act a fool to impress a dozen radical lefties and perhaps a few grade-school bullies in his district. All I can do is applaud the President for not snatching Kagen up by the collar and hurling him right out the White House door into Pennsylvania Avenue. God knows that I would have done so. It's probably a good thing that I'm not the President, because if some jackass nobody like Kagen had disrespected me and my family and friends in my house, I'd have put my foot so far up his ass that he'd be burping up shoeleather.

Here's another couple of reports of his asinine behavior at the White House:

Hot Air
Inside Scoop

Oh--and apparently he plagerized another legislator's website when he ran for office too. But what can you expect from this guy? As fond as the President is of assigning nicknames to people, he should call Kagen "recess" from now on because the Freshman from Wisconsin's got no class.
