Full disclosure notice: I'm not Catholic. That said, I generally respect the Catholic Church and it's leader, the Pope.

However during his visit to Washington DC today, this bit of political theater has me madder than an Ethiopian with no legs watching the last donut roll down a hill.

Security was epic tight as the Papal parade rolled down Constitution Avenue this morning. It was set up by the same people who do the 4th of July and Inauguration security in DC and run along the same model. There were fences along the route, and lines of police officers and Secret Service agents along that fenceline meant to keep the people back.

And yet...

She also handed the leader of the Catholic church a bright yellow t-shirt that read: 'Pope: rescue DAPA, so the legalization would be your blessing.'

Right. At just that crucial moment, and I saw it on live TV along with much of the country, someone lifted this girl over the fence and she ran right to the Pope with a t-shirt and a letter. Now you can figure that they took advantage of the Pope's reputation as a kind man who loves children and played on it by launching this baby illegal at him, or of you want to be a cynic, you can believe that the Pontiff was expecting this particular girl at this particular time. Either way, she got through and handed him a letter, and he quickly released that letter to the assembled media.

I think that it went something like this:

Hola, Senior Pope,

Just as my parents did not respect the fence around this country, I show my contempt for the one around you by hopping over it, because my agenda is more important than your security or the desires of all of those silly Gringos did are respecting your fence. You see, I am here with my family and hundreds of others from Mexico. You can easily identify us because we’re all wearing these yellow t-shirts with the pro-amnesty slogans on them. Here--I even brought one for you.
We all came here from the west coast today to beg you to make these mean Americans let us stay here in their country. Many of them resent that we came here in defiance of their fences and their laws and made ourselves comfortable in their schools, their hospitals and their neighborhoods. They want us to go home, but we cannot live as well back there because there is no EBT in Mexico and no cable TV. The money is here in America, Senior Pope, so we want to stay here. Help us out with that, ok? Here--I brought you a carefully thought-out letter that some adults gave me after telling me to pretend that I wrote it.

Any questions, just ask one of my people in the yellow shirts. We are all giving interviews today, and we’ll tell you all sorts of sad stories about life in our own country and the hard time we had getting here. Sigh. OK, it didn't say that, although that's what it should have said, if truth were to apply today. What it really stated was: 'I believe I have the right to live with my parents, I have the right to be happy.' 'All immigrants just like my dad help feed this country. They deserve to live with dignity. They deserve to live with respect. They deserve an immigration reform.'

Yeah, sounds like somthing that a five-year old who speaks English as a second language would write, doesn't it?

And all of you Americans who would have liked a personal audience with the Pope but who stayed behind the fence, well I guess that you're all just suckers, on a par with those who apply to immigrate into our country legally and others who play by the rules.

So the other night, the Frederick County, MD council met to discuss repealing a law that they passed in 2012 that required that all county business be conducted in English.

Back in 2012, the council was solid Republican, but now that three Democrats are on it, a three to four split, the Democrats are demanding that this whole thing be brought back up again so that they can show their special interest donors that the donors got their money's worth when they funded the Democrats' campaigns.

Council member Jessica Fitzwater (D), who was elected to the council in November and is a co-sponsor of the measure to repeal the ordinance, said the law “sends a clear message of intolerance”

Jessica Fitzwater just got there. Only been in office since January and already selling out the Americans in her county on behalf of the illegals and their big-money supporters.

The story goes on to quote one woman who wants it repealed just because she likes "diversity", and a black guy who claims that it's "just like the Jim Crow laws that his father-in-law experienced." This, of course, is bullshit, because every black affected by Jim Crow laws (Thanks, Democrats!) was a US Citizen, while illegals, by definition, aren't. Apples to Oranges. But hey--it's a liberal talking point so it's got to get out there, right? Somebody will fall for it.

And of course they had the money quote from a woman--speaking in Spanish--who made the best claim of all:

Maria Diana Sanchez Gonzalez, a Spanish speaker who testified through an interpreter, told the council that Frederick was her home, too.

“There are Latin stores, Latin food and people speak Spanish,” she said. “I think I have the right to have respect for my culture.”

In other words, she basically echoed millions of other illegals here when she meant to say:

"I crossed into your country in defiance of your laws knowing that you did not want me here. You cannot keep me out if I want to come here where your money and good living standards are. I will not assimilate into your culture or learn your language, but you'd better respect my culture and cater to me in my own language, and that means giving me access to the full range of government programs and benefits that your citizens pay for and not deporting me or anyone else here illegally. Screw you, Americans! Just gimme stuff, you racists!"

A radio show this morning talking about the meeting said that a reporter tried to ask Sanchez Gonzalez about her citizenship and whether she was here illegally or not, and Sanchez Gonzalez simply repeated that "it doesn't matter. I am here." That pretty much tells us what the answer is.

Am I the only one who thinks that in our country, we, the citizens, still have the right to pass our own laws for our own benefit and exclude those who are not citizens or here with our consent?

But I am willing to concede to one of Sanchez Gonzales' demands if she insists. I'm wiling to adopt Mexico's strict immigration laws and apply them to her case. Under Mexico's immigration laws, as a foreigner illegally in that country trying to run a business and influence government policy, she'd be in jail right now and she'd stay there until she could be formally deported. THAT I could get behind.

Another day, and another innocent American murdered by a foreign national who was deported from our country FIVE TIMES, only to give us the finger and come back again after every removal.

He was supposed to have been back in removal proceedings again following his latest felony arrest in San Francisco, but that sanctuary city refused to honor ICE's detainer request and released him back onto the streets again. The result: a woman dies in her father's arms when the illegal shoots her for no apparent reason. And the silence from the government officials who pushed for an end to deportation of illegals like this guy is deafening.

And before we blame the guns, the carrying of handguns is more illegal in California than being in America illegally is. The illegal with the long felony record didn't care about our gun laws any more than he did about our immigration or drug laws. And neither the Obama Administration or the Jerry Brown Administration cared that he was able to roam our streets and parks freely, along with millions more like him who just cross and re-cross our borders with impunity.

How many more Americans have to die or otherwise become the victims of crimes because our elected officials prefer to curry favor with the illegals and their supporters rather than represent those of us who legally vote and actually pay the taxes? What are we going to do about the approximately twenty million illegals and their minor dependents ("Baby illegals") who are here, packing our schools, hospitals, courts and prisons at our expense?

Back in 1912, Germany's Kaiser was visiting Switzerland. While there, he was told how ever swiss male is armed and part of the national militia. When the Kaiser asked a Swiss male what the quarter of a million Swiss militiamen would do if invaded by a half million German soldiers, the Swiss replied: "Shoot twice and go home."

Here in America, however, if the same question were put to us by the leaders of the third-world countries that give us most of our illegals, the answer would be: "We'd sign them up for EBT and Obamacare, enroll their kids in our schools and look the other way when they steal jobs from Americans, drive without licenses or insurance and commit crimes ranging from fraud and identity theft right on up to rape and murder."

No developed country on Earth has open borders like we have now, and that's because no developed country can survive unchecked immigration by hordes of unskilled, illiterate people, many of whom have values and come from cultures that are in opposition to our own. Britain and France are finding that out the hard way right now too, but we're apparently not interested in learning from their example. Maybe we should learn from the Swiss.

America today has over two million men and women in our military, both active and reserves. We have over 800,000 sworn police officers and countless millions of US citizens who own guns. Maybe it's time to give those who are here illegally a month to pack up and get out, after which time, the rest of us who care will be authorized to find those who still refuse to leave, shoot once or twice and go home.

Illegals injured by Mexican trains now demand ride on US gravy train.

Oh, this is great.

Hundreds of Honduran nationals who were attempting to invade the United States until they injured themselves falling from trains as they snuck across Mexico towards our borders are now demanding free rides to our borders and entry into our county because they can't work due to their injuries.

Now I can understand these folks' plight a little better than most, however each one was injured due to their own negligence while riding trains that they weren't supposed to be on, in a country that they weren't supposed to be in, while on the way to another country that they were not allowed to enter: America. And the Mexicans gave them medical care and shipped them back to their own home country, where the Red Cross kindly fixed them up with new prosthetic limbs. So what do they do? They come right back this way again, now claiming a "right" to enter our country since they have no means of support at home. Guess who they expect to support them once they get here?

“Our visa [to enter the U.S.] is our mutilation, our handicap, our lost arms and legs,” said Jose Luis Hernandez, 29, of Progreso, Honduras.

Can you really blame them, since Obama's new fiat legislation will make them eligible for IRS tax benefits, Obamacare and Social Security benefits even if they never work a day?

So now we see in the news that the Mexican government is "dismayed" because a federal judge here in the US put the brakes on Obama's efforts to do an end-run around our legal system and unilaterally grant millions of illegal aliens, most of whem are Mexican, the right to stay and work in our country regardless of the fact that their mere presence here is both a crime and a slap in the face of every American and legal immigrant.

Going farther, now mexico says that it actully hurts the US to not grant the Mexicans who are illegally here the same rights and privileges that Americans and lawful immigrants here.

Mexico said derailing the legalization of immigrants ultimately hurts the United States too.

"We reiterate that [Obama’s executive-action] programs mean just migratory relief for millions of families and could make possible contributions by Mexican migrants to the U.S. economy and society," the Mexican Foreign Relations Ministry said in a statement.

So my question is, if millions of poorly-educated Mexicans--many of whom have criminal records there and/or here--are such a boon to the economy, why doesn't the Mexican government just keep them all in Mexico and reap the benefits for their own collapsing economy?

Another Illegal Sues America After Getting Hurt Smuggling Drugs In.

So here we have Jose Manuel Marino-Najera, one of Obama's "DREAMers"...just here to work, right? And this nice gang of drug smugglers offered to help him get into our country if he'd just carry some of their dope...

And now he's suing us all because, while he was here illegally, bringing dope into our communities, a Border Patrol dog bit him.

First of all, I don't buy his story for a second. Just sleeping when a dog walked up and began chewing on him? Doubt it. That's not how police K-9 dogs work. But the real bite here is the fact that this guy, after being convicted of his part in the drug smuggling and serving six months in jail for it, was never deported and is still in our country! (Thanks Obama and Boehner!)

And sincesewage flows downhill, it's not surprising that he'd find fellow scumbag attorney Bill Risner, who appears to be only too happy to turn on his country and help enrich a border-hopping, drug-smuggling foreign national.

In a perfect country, we'd have a huge border fence running the entire length of our border with Mexico, and we'd have some big catapults to flip illegals like Marino-Najera back over the fence and into Mexico again after they finish their jail terms...and sell-outs like Risner and the losers who buy narcotics would get tossed, too.

Apparently the following editorial cartoon by Gary Varvel run in last Friday's Indy Star hit a bit too close to home with the Obama Administration, because the Indy Star promptly retracted it and apologized, claiming that "many people were offended by it".

And while it's true that most every Liberal opinion board and blog is going nuts about this cartoon today, I can't recall a newspaper pulling and apologizing for editorial cartoons that offend normal decent Americans. My own suspicion is that heat was applied by the White House, and since most of today's media still slavishly works to curry favor with Obama, they caved like they never would have done had the "offended parties" been veterans or gun owners or Americans with conservative ideals.

The cartoon is spot on though, and while it's critics line up to call it "racist", none have yet offered a convincing argument claiming that it's untrue.

Vote fraud by illegals apparently underway in Maryland

According to a lawsuit filed by Virginia Voters' Alliance, thousands of people in Maryland have returned jury summonses stating that they are not eligible to sit on a jury because they are not US citizens but then gone ahead and registered to vote, claiming to BE citizens. (One person in seven in Maryland is not a US citizen)

I'm sure that this is not at all why Democrats oppose laws requiring that voters actually show a valid identification before being allowed to cast a ballot.

And what are the odds of US or Maryland Attorneys General investigating the people who apparently gave misinformation either to the voter registration people or to the courts? Either lie is a crime that subjects the person convicted of it to jail, and, one would think, deportation if here illegally.

Anyone think that the Obama or Omalley administrations are about to get right on that?

Fastest Maryland Voter in all of Mexico...

Another display of illegal alien "gratitude".

So Colorado, in an attempt to appease and curry favor with a large group of people who aren't supposed to even be here, decided to start giving illegal aliens drivers' licenses last year.

Tho comply with federal ID requirements, the "illegal licenses" were supposed to have a black band across the top and wording to the effect that they were not for voting, boarding airplanes or "public benefit purposes". Typically, the bState of Colorado and it's contractor that produced the licenses screwed up and sent out 524 regular driver's licenses to illegals, meaning that each of them now has a valid state ID card that grants them access to airlines, entry into federal buildings, and presumably shields them against charges of voter fraud when they start casting ballots.

Well Colorado contacted the 524 recipients of these ID cards to get them to bring them back and exchange them for the correct ones, and even offered them gift cards to make up for the inconvenience. And apparently these illegals were all so grateful to America and to Colorado for this great opportunity that only thirty percent of them returned the cards.

Putting that another way, seventy percent of the illegals laughed and flipped Colorado and America the "el Birdo". They apparently intend to keep those ID cards regardless of the fact that it's in violation of yet another American law.

That's how much respect that they have for our country and our laws, folks. And that's why every single one of them should be deported in accordance with current US law.

Naturally, Dearborn, MI, with it's massive muslim population, is #2 on the list, right behind New York City. And the spokesperson for islamic interests in the US, Dawud Walid, executive director of the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, says that the FBI should "stop focusing on Dearborn and sending FBI agents and informants into our community. It doesn't make sense."

Right. It's been known for decades that Dearborn is a hub of funding and support for Hamas, the old PLO, and pretty much every other group of transnational baddies that worship Mohammed and long for the destruction of western society and a global return to the twelfth century. But we should stop investigating them, and ignore incidences where they train to kill our police. and engage in gun battles with them.

And of course we should now apply that same sort of permissiveness and lack of oversight to all of the illegal alien drug gang members who want to come into our country, because anyone's mere wish to be here should trump the safety of our citizens and the integrity of our borders.

Whose country? Their country, obviously...and the Obama Administration is good with that so long as they get to rule whatever is left after the dirty bombs explode and the cartels turn our surviving cities into a bunch of little el Salvadors.

Last week in Murrieta, California, a band of fed-up Americans blocked buses that the Obama Administration was using to transfer approximately 140 illegal aliens to a facility where they would be housed at taxpayer expense until they could be given hearing dates before an immigration judge--hearings that 90% of them will never show up at once they're released into the interior of our country. These Americans were successful and the buses turned around and left, but reports are now coming out that indicate that federal police with riot gear are heading to Murrieta with the intent to remove the Americans, using force if need be.

So the Obama administration allegedly wants to use force against Americans who object to his efforts to settle illegals in America in violation of current federal law? If so, this brings us perilously close to the point where even your average American has to start questioning this government's legitimacy and right to continue to govern. After all, they're supposed to work for us and enforce the laws passed by our elected representatives in congress. But when we have a president who decides that only his agenda matters and that his will should substitute for the law of the land, we as a nation arrive at a crisis point that has to be resolved, either by our legislators and our courts, or failing that, by us taking back our consent to be governed by this administration. After all, if Barackus Obamaus can just use federal troops to trump our existing laws whenver he decides to do it, where does it stop? Tomorrow does he get to use his personal army to start seizing cars that don't measure up to his fuel economy standards, land that one of his agencies or political patrons covets, or our guns? Are there any limits left on his power and his reach? Obama has already told us that if we expect him to uphold and abide by our laws, we'll have to sue him. and failing the resolve of our representatives to do exactly that, the only option that we have left is to rise as a body and resist with as much force or more as he directs against us. And if he directs force against our fellow Americans in Murrieta or anywhere elese where citizens are objecting to his lawless behavior, we'll all have to decide for ourselves if it's not finally time to step up and emulate our forbears on Lexington Green. Is there another way back from the brink if Obama won't stop and if congress won't stop him, or is it really 1775 all over again?

Smirky Joe declares that all 11,000,000 illegal aliens are now "Americans".

This statement alone should be grounds for his immediate impeachment. Failing that, he should be tarred and feathered and made to run down Pennsylvania Avenue to the DC line between rows of Americans who have suffered due to the crimes of illegal aliens...and those Americans should each have a cricket bat.

“All they want—they just want a decent life for their kids, a chance to contribute to a free society, a chance to put down roots and help build the next great American century. I really believe that."

Yeah, and that's why so many of them refuse to obey our laws, learn our language or assimilate into our culture. Actually, what many of them want is free stuff by the bushel basket, and a chance to expand criminal enterprises and launch terror attacks on our country. But since it's expected that most of them who bother registering to vote will in fact vote Democrat, Biden and his handlers are obviously willing to accept a little "collateral damage" if it means permanent power for their party. And existing laws enacted to protect us from these things? What difference does it make?

Maybe Biden knows something that I don't, but I'm not thinking that the plaque at the Statue of Liberty was changed to read: "Send us your gang members, your child sex offenders, your repeat drunk drivers who kill... and your terrorists."

Deported Mexican migrant activist asks for refuge in the US

A brief history:

In 1997, Elvira Arellano snuck into our country illegally from Mexico. She was discovered and deported. Almost immediately, she came back again, and this time she dodged authorities for about three years, during which time she "dropped anchor" and had a kid out of wedlock. She's never revealed the identity of the father. She then went to Chicago and got a job cleaning at O'Hare International Airport, but in the wake of 9/11, a security check on the airport employees revealed that she was using someone else's social security number. She was arrested, charged and convicted for that crime and ordered deported again, but she instead hid in a church in Chicago known for sheltering illegals. From there, she launched media attack after media attack on the US Government and everyone who wanted her gone, claiming that the fact that she has a child gave her the right to stay in America forever. The Mexican government also used her case to attack our policy of deporting illegal Mexicans back to Mexico, all while deporting citizens from Central and South America in accordance with their own harsh (and effective) immigration laws. A year later, in 2007, she was finally arrested and sent back to her home country. She was given the opportunity to bring her son with her after years of wailing about how it would be inhumane to separate her from him, but when that argument didn't result in her being allowed to stay here, she just shrugged and left the kid behind, presumably for our welfare agencies to support. But now just a few year later, she apparently decided that he once again has value as a prop, and somehow she got the money to fly him down to Mexico just so that they could appear together at one of our border crossings where she's now demanding asylum, claiming that neither her or the kid should have to live in Mexico.

Now we taxpayers will wind up housing and feeding her again as she waits for yet another hearing, hoping that maybe this time, a judge will ignore her three previous deportation orders and just give her a gold green card. And knowing Obama and his desire to score points with hispanics, she'll probably prevail and get his personal permission to stay in our country which she seems to prefer over her own despite the years of criticism and abuse that she's heaped on the US. She is like a burglar who breaks into your house repeatedly and then publicly castigates you for locking the door to keep her out as she files a change-of-address with the post office listing your address as her new permanent residence.

All I can say is that if the Obamaites let her stay this time after all of this, than the rule of law is truly and irrevocably dead in America.

That's fifteen million illegal alien Hispanics and Africans laughing as they read about this woman being deported, knowing full well that Obama and many in Congress have has their back and they don't need to worry about sharing her fate.

Not that I feel particularly bad for this woman who knowingly came into our country illegally, but whatever happened to the idea of equal treatment for all in America?

Apparently we're operating under the Obama doctrine instead, one that tells illegals that if you're black or brown, you get to stick around, but if you're white, you'll be on the next flight.

Shot in face, Texas cop still chases down and handcuffs suspected gunman

So Officer Ann Carrizales of the Stafford, Texas police department (a former Marine) walks up on a car during a traffic stop and the passenger shoots her twice, once in the chest (stopped by her vest) and once in the face. The car then takes off on her.

Shot twice, Officer Carrizales gets back in her car, chases the suspects, and calls for back-up. Twenty miles later, the chase ends with the shooter in custody, the driver the subject of a warrant (both are illegal alien gang members from Honduras) and a third occupant still on the loose and unknown.

(In a Just world, the police would beat the identity of the third escapee out of the two in custody, but the Liberals would never allow that today.)

A lot of people--even a lot of police officer would fold up when shot, especially in the face, but Officer Ann Carrizales stayed in the fight and eventually won it. That's True Grit, right there. Rooster Cogburn would be proud of her and I know for sure that I am.
