One of the seamier aspects of the whole Leftist mess in Ferguson, MO has been the relentless stalking of Officer Darren Wilson by some members of the media. One who has been among the worst of these media stalkers is Julie Bosman, writer for the New York Times. Going by a search of her recent bylines, it appears as if she's pretty much devoted her energies exclusively to shadowing Officer Wilson and posting every rumor about him and as much of his personal information as she can find. It doesn't seem to matter to her that he's not been accused of any crime. No, he was actually the vicitim in this case, the victim of an unprovoked attack by a drug-smoking store-robbing savage named Mike Brown, who had the bad judgement to attack an armed police officer. Brown wound up dead and other savages have been running amuck, attacking people and destroying public and private property all across the country (but primarily in places where liberals dominate).
Now no reputable reporter or news agency would ever deem it proper to post a rape victim's home address, or the typical survivor of a serious assault. That sort of thing would be beyond the pale and decent society would be outraged. But no one can accuse Julie Bosman of being reputable (or the New York Times of being much of a news agency) because she ferreted out officer Wilson's marriage license and put his new home address in one of her yellow-journalistic screeds, and her hack editors saw no problem with it, approving it for publication.
So I figure that if crime victims and/or police officers who just do their jobs can have their information made public by sensationalism-seeking "journalists", those same journalists are probably fair game for the same sort of thing. So, joining bloggers like Mr. Garibaldi and Gotnews.com, I wish to help anyone who has a real or imagined grudge or just wants fifteen minutes of fame by giving the the addresses of Julie Bosman and her henchman, Campbell Robertson.
Julie Bosman can be found at 5620 N Wayne Ave #2, Chicago, IL 60660. Click the link for a nice picture of her place.
Campbell Robertson can be similarly located at 1113 N Dupre St., New Orleans, LA 70119.
And if you happen to find yourselves in those areas, they look like this:
I don't get to Chicago or New Orleans terribly often these days, but if anything happens to Officer Wilson or his home, I may have to make it a point to visit both cities, just to express my disdain in a manner that would make the typical Ferguson protester proud.

Gaffin' Joe Biden says more dumb stuff.
And as usual, the Democrat-biased US Media gives him a pass as he uses an anti-semetic slur to describe unscrupulous lenders.
Joe Biden under fire from Jewish groups for using word 'Shylocks' during speech about money lending
No biggie, right? I mean, it's just Job Biden. Heck, he embarrasses himself and the Obama Administration every time he opens his mouth to so much as ask for a glass of water in a restaurant...or at least he would if the media reported on it. Now just imagine for one moment that is was not Biden who said thoughtless stuff like this, but, oh...Dan Quayle, George W. Bush or Sarah Palin. Does anyone think that the media reaction would be just a little bit different?
And do you ever wonder what else that the media heads have all agreed not to publicize on behalf of Team Obama and the Democrats? That's only a galling and scary thought to those who remember when they used to be our watchdogs over the government and not an arm of one political party exclusively.
Remember this when the other party sweeps the House and the Senate in November and re-takes the White House in two years. When the media wakes up and starts criticizing the new guys, I hope that you'll join me in reminding them that they have no moral standing to say anything.
RIP, US media. You won't just get your credibility back after eight years of regurgitating Obama kool-aid at us and your rants about the other guys will be taken about as seriously as if they came from Nancy Pelosi's office. Or Joe Biden's.

Ding, Dong, da Dork is Done.
Once upon a time, there lived in Britain a pompous twit named Pierce Morgan who thought that he could fly to America and tell us all what we were doing wrong as he opined on American culture and politics despite knowing very little about either aspect of this great nation of ours.
He moved into some nice digs in Manhattan, part of one of America's cities that least reflects real America, and started spouting off.
Americans in general were less than impressed right off the bat to have a foreigner editorializing on things that affect America as if he were some kind of expert, and Pierce proved his skeptics right when he decided to crown himself the new moral potentate on guns and gun rights.
Pierce, you see, came from a little island nation whose government disarmed it's people and called it good as violent crime skyrocketed year after year following that action. Criminals can still get guns in Britain rather easily and even those who don't bother fell much safer attacking other people knowing that the average law-abiding victim will not be armed and able to shoot them. And despite this rather predictable result of the Crown's actions, Pierce decided that we in America should follow his country down that rat-hole and he began touting that philosophy in a rather crass and boorish manner, insulting American gun owners personally and cheerleading for Barry Obama every time that gun-hater did or said something against lawful gun owners. And it wasn't long before gun owners started turning the channel on Pierce Morgan and CNN in droves.
But our foreign "guest" didn't get the message. Sure of himself as our intellectual superior, Morgan insisted on numerous televised debates against Second Amendment supporters, secure in his ability to bully and talk over anyone that he disagreed with. However, most of these people came armed with actual facts which they used to trump his emotional rhetoric and they stood up to him when he tried to bully them. In short, guest after guest took his lunch money and punked him in front of the rest of his viewers, and this happened so much that he finally lost any remaining credibility even among the chattering class of kool-aid drinkers that tend to agree with him on such things. He failed them by failing to defend their common belief and they ultimately abandoned him, too. CNN's ratings when his show came on dropped to the bottom of the list and CNN realized that there was no unringing that bell so they gave the funny-talking fat man the boot.
America is fed up with me: Morgan to quit CNN job
The air already seems a little cleaner this morning, and the spirit of American Freedom resonates a bit more forcefully today.
See ya, Pierce. Don't let the airport door hit ya on the way home. And if you want to be a guy and try to make even some sort of amends, take your fellow poncey whiner Andrew Sullivan with you.
"MURICA! Eff yeah!" I'm giving the dogs an extra cookie this morning just because it's a greAT DAY.

What a Maroon! Obama keeps confusing British Chancellor with R&B singer.
Yet we don't hear much about this in the American media at all.
President Obama calls Chancellor George Osbourne "Jeffrey" numerous times at G8 summit.
I guess it would only have been newsworthy if George Bush had done it.

Congressman's son beats woman, media ignores it.
One of December's most under-reported stories was that of Patrick Moran, Democrat Jim Moran's good-for-nothing vote-fraud-encouraging son, Patrick Moran, who was charged with a felony on december 1st for beating his girlfriend and slamming her head into a metal trashcan in Washington DC, fracturing her skull.
Well it pays to know people in the District of Columbia (or have a daddy who does) because he just got his felony charge knocked down to a misdemeanor and was given probation in a lightning-fast fast-track disposition that saw the entire case concluded in less than two weeks from the commission of the crime to the disposition in court. For those of you not familiar with DC Superior Court, which normally moves at a glacial pace, that's nothing short of incredible. Natually, people should be asking what role daddy played in this sweetheart deal, and maybe they would if the newspapers had covered it at all. But Congressman Moran apparently has the same friends in the media that refused to report anything that might have made Obama look bad, because it was a total non-story except for little tabloid articles like this one which was just generated by the bar where it occurred as damage control.
Congressman Moran, to his shame, merely calls the vicious domestic violence crime "an embarrassing accident" and claims that his son deserves privacy. Stay classy, James Moran.
I have to wonder how public this all would be had Patrick been the son of a Republican when he commited this violent crime in our nation's capitol.
Oh--and the assault was witnessed by both a Metropolitan Police Department sergeant and an Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration investigator and a police report was generated which, in conjunction with his son's guilty plea in court, makes the Congressman a bald-faced liar.

Obama's latest snide attack only highlights his hypocrisy and lack of integrity...again
Wow. So now that Mittens is all but the official anti-Obama candidate, everybody in the Obama Administration from the White House grounds staff to Obama himself is now churlishly attacking Mitt's wife, claiming that she never had a job.
First of all, this is pretty hypocritical, coming from the guy that used to demand that his wife be off-limits to any criticism. And it's even more ridiculous when you look at Mooch's real "work history" and realize that she spent the last two years of her "job" at a Chicago hospital getting paid $63,000 a year for not showing up, and that this job--which she was offered right after Barack was elected to the Illinois State Legislature (a body that steers funds to this hospital)--was of such importance to the hospital that when Mooch finally did quit, they never even bothered to replace her or fill the position in any way.
Yeah, maybe the Obama team should just say what they really mean: The Romneys weren't smart or corrupt enough to wangle a sweetheart payoff disguised as a "job" for Mrs. Romney the way that the Obamas did.
And maybe if the Romneys had done such a questionable thing, the media would have refused to report on it just like they did when Barry and Mooch did it, right?

More "Openness and Transparency", Obama Administration style
A reporter at a Biden event--the only one allowed inside--was locked in a closet and not allowed to ask questions, either of Biden or anyone else.
Can you imagine the uproar if this had happened at a Bush, Cheney or Palin event?
Want to bet that since this was just Biden, we hear nothing more about this?
Staffers with Vice President Joe Biden confined an Orlando Sentinel reporter in a closet this week to keep him from mingling with high-powered guests gathered for a Democratic fundraiser.
Reporter Scott Powers was the designated "pool reporter" for the vice president's Wednesday visit to the massive Winter Park, Fla., home of developer and philanthropist Alan Ginsburg. The veep hadn't arrived yet but most of the 150 guests (minimum $500 donation) had. They were busy noshing on caprese crostini with oven-dried mozzarella and basil, rosemary flatbread with grapes honey and gorgonzola cheese and bacon deviled eggs, before a lunch of grilled chicken Caesar and garden vegetable wraps.
Not so for Powers. A "low-level staffer" put Powers in a storage closet and then stood guard outside the door, Powers told the DRUDGE REPORT. "When I'd stick my head out, they'd say, 'Not yet. We'll let you know when you can come out.'"
And no crustini for Powers, either. He made do with a bottle of water to sip as he sat at a tiny makeshift desk, right next to a bag marked "consignment." Powers was closeted at about 11:30 a.m., held for about an hour and 15 minutes, came out for 35 minutes of remarks by Biden and Sen. Bill Nelson, Florida Democrat, and then returned to his jail for the remainder of the event.
Powers' phone didn't work in the closet, but his Blackberry did, so he fired a picture of his impromptu prison to his editors, who posted a short blog item on the lack of freedom of the press under the veep's control.
Powers didn't mention his confinement in either of his pool reports that day, saying only that "press coverage was limited to a single pool reporter, filing on behalf of all local media, who was allowed to listen to the remarks but not given an opportunity to talk with anyone at the event."
On Friday, Powers said, the home's owner called him. "He said he had no idea they'd put me in a closet and was very sorry. He said he was just following their lead and was extremely embarrassed by the whole thing."
Can you imagine the uproar if this had happened at a Bush, Cheney or Palin event?
Want to bet that since this was just Biden, we hear nothing more about this?

And the media wonders why America doesn't trust them
Could it be because they show their objectivity and express their political neutrality by partying with Obama and making fun of Republicans and Obama's critics all night?
Obama and media elites party the night away in DC.
And in the true spirit of that "transparency" that B.O. promised us all, journalists who attended were forbidden from later reporting about it and CSPAN was refused permission to record and broadcast remarks made by Obama and others.
So for those of you in the media who wonder why many of us in real America view you as an extension of the Obama administration, you might want to change your ways if you want us to change our minds. Obama will be gone soon, but your credibility as objective reporters won't automatically return when he goes. Keep that in mind.

Obama doofs it again in Korea.
This is why we have professional diplomats, and why they should represent us abroad instead of a guy who bungles every time he has to step out from behind his teleprompter. After selectively taking questions only from the members of the press that he brought with him, Obama condescendingly offers to take the last question from one of the local reporters.
The closing exchange at President Obama’s press conference today in Seoul:
THE PRESIDENT: I feel obliged to take maybe one question from the Korean press — since you guys have been such excellent hosts. Anybody? This gentleman right here — he’s got his hand up. He’s the only one who took me up on it. Go ahead. And I’ll probably need a translation, though, if you’re asking the question in Korean. In fact, I definitely will need a translation.
REPORTER (in excellent English): Unfortunately, I hate to disappoint you, President Obama, I’m actually Chinese.
Koreans, Chinese, whatever...they all look alike, don't they, Barack?
What a moron. And to think that people used to call Bush "stupid". George Bush was an Einstein next to Obama. But because the media still loves Obama, this isn't getting much play at all. But just imagine if President Bush had said it...

Just doing jobs that Americans won't do.
Yep. Illegal aliens in our country are now doing something that few Americans seem to want to do: campaigning for Washington Senator Patty Murray.
Proving how out of touch she is with Americans, most of whom want the illegals sent home, Murray's campaign actually puts them to work on her re-election effort, trying to convince other minorities--those who are lawfully here and actually entitled to vote--to vote for her.
Sorry, but I have a real problem with people who aren't even supposed to be here now trying to directly steer our country's political system by working for politicians who are perceived to be ready and willing to offer Amnesty bills in return. That to me is the ultimate "foreign interest" seeking to influence a legislator.
So where are all of the pundits and shills who screamed for a week over California Gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman's having once employed a maid who later turned out to be illegal despite having offered fraudulent documents and swearing that she was, in fact, legally here?
Again, since this time it's a Democrat doing the wrong thing, I doubt that we'll be hearing very much about it at all. The media has their own agenda--protecting the Democrat majority--and reporting news like this doesn't advance that so they'll self-censor and work to deny America the facts.
Note to you media hacks...we're seeing this and we're not going to forget. Your credibility doesn't automatically come back post-election.
Oh, and someone please tell the illegal not to refer to the American political system as "ours". That's like a catching a burglar in your house and having him say that he's just taking "our" flat-screen TV out to be cleaned.
Time for ICE to raid Patty Murray's office.

SEATTLE -- When Maria Gianni is knocking on voters' doors, she's not bashful about telling people she is in the country illegally. She knows it's a risk to advertise to strangers that she's here illegally -- but one worth taking in what she sees as a crucial election.
The 42-year-old is one of dozens of volunteers -- many of them illegal immigrants -- canvassing neighborhoods in the Seattle area trying to get naturalized citizens to cast a ballot for candidates like Democratic Sen. Patty Murray, who is in a neck-to-neck race with Republican Dino Rossi.
Pramila Jayapal, head of OneAmerica Votes, says the campaign is about empowering immigrants who may not feel like they can contribute to a campaign because they can't vote.
"Immigrants really do matter," Jayapal said. "If we can't vote ourselves, we're gonna knock on doors, or get family members to vote."
Seattle is home to a wide array of immigrant communities, from Latinos to east Africans and Asians.
Congress declined this year to consider overhauling the country's immigration law
, much to the chagrin of immigrant advocates who had expected Democrats to do so by now.
Still, OneAmerica Votes launched one of the largest get-out-the-vote campaigns in the state on behalf of Democratic candidates. The organization is an offshoot of OneAmerica, one of the state's largest and the most influential immigrant-rights advocacy group.
Through home visits, phone banks and mailings the organization is aiming to reach about 40,000 registered voters in the Seattle area in an attempt to help Democrats gain ground in key races. Volunteers include other types of people who can't vote, such as legal permanent residents.
About 150 volunteers rolled out in nine cities across Washington this past week, knocking on 3,000 doors.
In Bellevue, a city of nearly 123,000 east of Seattle, Gianni knocked on 25 doors and spoke to 15 people, she said.
One man, a naturalized citizen from the Philippines, said he knew what she was going through after she shared she was in the country illegally.
"There's always a risk," Gianni said in Spanish about her legal status. "But if there's a change, I would feel like I contributed, even in a small part, to a change we all need."
Gianni arrived in the United States on a visa 13 years ago looking for work and stayed. For a while her only son lived here, but has since moved back to Mexico.
"In order for there to be a change to our broken immigration system," she said, "I believe one has to fight."
Sorry, but I have a real problem with people who aren't even supposed to be here now trying to directly steer our country's political system by working for politicians who are perceived to be ready and willing to offer Amnesty bills in return. Enough already!
About a month ago, I penned my disgust for the media's unending coverage of no-talent train-wreck Lindsay Lohan and her never-ending drama. My theory was (and still is) that the media moguls choose to bury us under this stuff every day to keep us from noticing and disapproving of Obama and the Democrats' bungling and corruption.
It's a sound theory and I'll stand by it. It's undisputed that almost every media outlet in America was an unbiased Obama supporter during the last election and now they're trying to distract us from his failings in a lame attempt to save what little of their own credibility they have left.
And now, with TWO Democrats--Rangel and Waters--facing ethics trials and the Gulf oil spill still not cleaned up, the media is trying extra hard to push the negative (for Dems) news off of the front page by giving us not just Lindsay Loser but another freak named Snooki.
Again, I don't want to know about these people. I don't want my brain to be filled with anything about them. I try to avoid it, but every single news source seems to want to shove this crap in our faces 24/7. Lindsay and Snooki; Snooki and Lindsay. Watch them cry, fight, get drunk, fall down, puke and go to jail. Why would I want to watch this? I've had more than one ex-girlfriend who could (and did) do this stuff with monotonous regularity. (And I loved them all for it.)
But the media...they want us to watch this so we won't notice Obama's failings or the fact that about every third Democrat in Congress (Rangel, Waters, Kerry, Sestak and others too numerous to list here)is having some sort of an ethical problem just three months before we vote on keeping them around. It's the old "Hey, look at those drunk chicks instead of our economy!" distraction.
Well I've had more than enough of it, and more than enough of Lindsay Lohan and Snooki, too.
So I propose one last big media event--one certain to please and amuse most of America: A knife fight--to the death--between Lindsay and Snooki. It'll be live on pay-per-view, and the rules are simple: Both get locked in a cage and only one comes out, but not until the other has assumed room temperature permanently. I don't even care which one wins, because the real winner will be the American public as there will be 50% less useless drama thrust into our faces disguised as "news" after this fight's over.
Oh, and the survivor? She has to follow Barack Obama around everywhere he goes for the next three months, thus ensuring that the whole world will see everything that he says and does between now and the next election.
Am I a genius, or what?

OK, I'm pissed.
I know now that Lindsay Lohan, the no-talent-having train-wreck of a celebutard who is venerated in Hollywood and everywhere else that useless people gather is going to jail for three months. I know that she cried in court because it was a shock to her, and I know that she had an obscene message painted on her finger that the judge is taking note of. I know that her father and her sister were in court but that her mother was not. I know way, way more about this loserette than I ever wanted to know or set out to learn. In fact, I learned all about her DUI's, her coke use, her probation violation, the movies that she was going to star in before her career imploded, and many other random facts about her without even trying. Further, I learned all of this and more despite making a conscious effort NOT to learn anything about her. But this damned celebrity-obsessed tabloid-based culture and the media that caters to it made sure that my filters and barriers were overwhelmed by sheer volume as they reported on her on the front pages of almost every newspaper in the free world as if she was somehow someone important or worthy of note. She hasn't done anything to earn any sort of distinction, but her trials and tribulations are being discussed on virtually every news website or TV news show and even on almost every otherwise serious talk radio show.
I can't stand it any more.
My brain now contains several pages worth of irrelevant Lindsay Lohan data, no doubt crowding out otherwise useful and pertinent information. I don't want to know this stuff and I don't want to know her. But the media, trying hard to keep us from noticing Obama's bumblings, gaffes and failures, is spoon-feeding us this crap every day now, ensuring that we're not only distracted, but dumber for our troubles.
There was a time when the media reported actual news and discussed politics and current events. In fact, that used to be the norm, especially because the media liked beating up on whichever president was in charge. But now that Obama is in the White House--put there in large part by a media who conspired to trash his opponents and ignore his own flubs and failings--they can't report on his actions lest the wind up tearing down the idol that they themselves built up. So instead, they fill their pages with aimless gossip about Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Perez Hilton and countless other morons. And in large part, we, the people, not only put up with this but many of us thank them for it and reward whichever source gives us the juiciest new tidbits the quickest.
Meanwhile, in Rome, the fires are raging out of control as President Urkel slips out for another round of golf. And as usual, no one sees him go or cares. Stop the world, I want to get off.
Thank God that the UPS man is coming with more ammunition this week.
I can't stand it any more.

I will not rest...
My, how times have changed.
First Obama claimed that he would not rest until businesses were hiring.
Then he promised that he would not rest until the plotters behind the Christmas Day attempted airliner bombing in Detroit were caught. (Disingenuously, he made this promise while on vacation in Hawaii.)
Then he claimed that he would not rest until the oil in the gulf was cleaned up.
Of course then he went on vacation again to Chicago--stiffing our troops on Memorial Day--and he returned to have a big party with Paul McCartney. Now, while none of these things have been accomplished--the stock market just crashed this week-end over the dismal jobs report, the terrorist plotters are all still out there and anonymous and the oil still flows freely while wildlife continues to die, Obama and his wife went to their second star-studded party this week at Ford's Theater.
Gee, for a guy who keeps claiming that he's not going to rest until he gets something done, he and his wife sure seem to be getting a lot of rest...and having a lot of fun on the taxpayers' dime.
This is a far cry from President Bush going so far as to give up golfing during his administration because it didn't look right for him to take a few hours to relax on the links while our troops were at war. Of course our troops are still at war, and Obama's played more golf in his first year than Bush did during his entire eight.
How much longer is Obama, a man whom historians are likely to label "the most incompetent president ever" going to keep getting away with all of this high-living and goofing off while America crashes? I mean, somebody hand this guy a fiddle and a toga and break out the matches already.
Words mean things, Barky. Now get to work and start doing your job.
And to the US news media I say "thank you" for continuing to cover for this guy and carrying his water. Your complicity won't be forgotten after he's gone in 2012.
Edited to add: The staggering cost of the Obama's personal playtime is starting to get notice from foreign media, if not our own.

Obama's useful idiots are worried now that they're no longer useful
The media sycophants that got Obama elected after spending eight years undermining the last President are now worried--and angry--because Obama is bypassing them and going directly to the people, according to a recent Daily Beast article.
This article, which is lengthy enough that I won't reprint it all here, begins with an explanation of how Obama is bypassing (and disrespecting) the mainstream media tools who were his staunchest allies and supporters right up until the point when he no longer needed them and they began to question his policies and direction. Obama is now shutting them out and going around them, and they don't like it.
First, they worry that they may wind up on the scrap heap of obsolescence (and have to go out and get real jobs) now that they're finding themselves supplanted by the young college kids that Obama is hiring to reach out on Twitter and facebook and all of the other "idiot" networks. But then they make the claim that America will somehow be worse off without them because they provide an essential serviced by "filtering" the news--deciding what you and I get to se and hear--and that without them to make those decisions, we'll all somehow become poorer and stupider.
CBS senior White House correspondent Bill Plante isn't shy about his belief that they're smart enough (and trustworthy enough) to decide what information reaches you and I. “In the end, who gets the decent information? The people who rely on trusted filters, whether they’re online or on the air,” Plante replied. “If you do it all yourself, you’re gonna get a load of crap!”
Because you and I...we're not smart enough to figure out what's crap and what's not. We need the media talking heads to tell us, specifically the media talking heads who have consistently demonstrated an open bias towards all things Democrat and against anything conservative or Republican. Yeah...we need that, because we're stupid, right? we need to be told what and how to think and have our information flow restricted to just that which reinforces what the Bill Plantes and the Chris Matthewses want us to think.
The redoubtable (and undeniably leftist) Helen Thomas—who started at the White House covering JFK for United Press International, and still has a front-row seat in the briefing room—is worried that all the downsizing at media outlets will result in less-reliable coverage of the president.
“It’s a tragedy in my book—it means less accountability,” Thomas said. “We certainly haven’t had any news conferences in a long time, which reminds me of Watergate in the sense of a long time of not having press conferences. Obama has given a lot of interviews, but that doesn’t reveal the whole picture at all.”
Thomas, at 89, might have slowed down a bit since her wire-service days, but she’s still combat-ready with a sharply honed question. “The difference between a news conference and interviews is that the questions from the ‘rabble’ will come from left field,” she said, “and they will ask something that will really startle him” and push the president off his talking points.
And that would have been fine if people like Thomas had ever tried to really grill Obama with tough, probing question and throw him off his message. But they didn't, because they were his fans and supporters. In fact, Chris Matthews of MSNBC, one of President Bush's most vitriolic critics, openly admitted that his job was to make the Obama Presidency a success.
That's the kind of "filtering" that we need? I don't think so.
BUt we get still more elitism from Thomas, who decries the fact that people are now directly disseminating information without going through her and her comrades.
“There’s no accountability for a blogger,” she scoffed. “They can ruin lives, reputations, and once you send something into the air, it’s going to land, and there’s nothing that can curb them from saying anything they want. Everybody with a laptop thinks they’re a journalist, and everybody with a cellphone thinks they’re a photographer.”
But what of the media's long history of ruining lives and reputations? Dan Quayle come to mind? Sarah Palin? President Bush and Vice-President Cheney? Was there anything too salacious to refrain from printing about any of these people, or countless others on the political right? I suspect that what she means is that now it'll be that much harder to protect those wrongdoers on the left--like the media tried so hard to do in the case of John "who's-you-daddy?" Edwards. Remember how the media collectively refused to report on that one until the National Enquirer and the bloggers broke it wide open? That kind of selective filtering we can all do well without, thank you very much.
You media folks used to be objective and you scrutinized government with a probing eye on behalf of the public without regard for partisanship. In that regard, you provided America with a valuable service. But then you decided to cash it all in and started using your hard-won credibility to affect and shape public opinion instead of just reporting fairly. The result: Now one side has no use for you, and the team that you chose to support now treats you like a shopworn hooker. The public doesn't trust you any more and there's no way to unring the bell and get your reputation back. Obama will be gone eventually but you'll still stained and mistrusted. So bring on the death of the mainstream media, or at least it's demise as an agenda-driven combine. It can't come too soon in my books.
